Music
Music Upload Deadline 14th June
Please ensure all music is uploaded to your account by 14th June.
Please ensure your music is uploaded to your account by the deadline. Any dances without music will be assumed a no dance & your space will be offered to the waiting list.
Any tracks after this date which are uploaded or changed will be subject to a £2 per track admin fee.
➡️How to upload my music –
You are only able to upload music if you did the entries and have the log in details.
1. Head to your account & log in
2. Head to my entries
3. Click ‘edit’ on the right side of the dance you want to upload the music for.
4. Scroll down to music upload section
5. Add your music (you can also add titles and descriptions if necessary aswell)
6. Click submit.
7. Playback is available from the main menu please check you have uploaded the correct track.
8. If you can see your music there – then so can I please do not email and ask for me to double check, once I have made the playlist your music will be ticked off in your account.
❓FAQ’s ❓
➡️My track is too large & won’t upload?
The website hold tracks up to 35MB which is long enough for a 15 minute track. Please use an online compressor to make the track smaller in size. (Google online music compressor)
➡️My file size isn’t accepted?
We accept WAV .mp3 & M4a any other formats will need to be converted again please google this.
➡️ Have you received my music?
There’s no need to double check. If you can see it in your account then so can I. It will be ticked as being checked once I have created all playlists. Usually a few weeks after the deadline. I will post on socials when this is done. Please do not email asking me to confirm, this system is in place so I don’t need to confirm all 1800 tracks.
➡️ I don’t have my music yet?
Music is needed this far in advance in order to have enough time to create 172 playlists. If you cannot upload by 14th June please let me know so I don’t offer your place to someone on the waiting list. A late fee will apply.
➡️Do you accept CD’s?
We do not have means to play CD’s at the festival, only upload to the system is accepted, please bring a back up on a device with you.
Timetable

➡️Individual dates & times can be found in your accounts. If you did not do the entries please ask the person who did them to share this information with you.
If your section is split this will let you know which split section you are in.
Unfortunately at this point split sections cannot be swapped.
➡️If you are no longer able to attend please tick ‘not dancing’ in your account so we are aware, there’s no need to email to let us know (although we appreciate being told, this system is easier to keep track of)
Errors on Entries
➡️Everything is automatically copied over from your original entry form, we don’t amend anything (apart from the odd capital letter)
Therefore if you have spotted any errors you need to let us know. We will do our best to change these please do take the time to check your entries – the earlier the better!!
Moving from Novice to Open
➡️If you originally entered in the Novice section, but since have gained the marks needed to move to the Open at a British & International Federation of Festivals Full member festival (this way we can guarantee that marking should be consistent, rather than festivals who aren’t affiliated and use their own adjudicators and different marking schemes)
You don’t need to worry about this until the next festival year which commences each September.
So your entry will stay where it is, moving it especially after the timetable is done is not easy.
Can I order a programme in advance

➡️These will be posted beginning of July. Pre Order will close end of June, after this programmes will be available from the festival.
Where can I purchase spectator tickets
➡️Spectator tickets are purchased at the festival we accept cash or card. Prices for the sessions can be found on our website – https://petersfielddancefestival.co.uk/festival-information/entry-fees/
