• Firstly Thank you so much for all your help, it would not be possible without you! There is a little something for all of you in the Tuck shop when you’ve finished!
  • If I don’t already have your DBS number or if it hasn’t arrived yet when you have it please could you send to me.
  • There are 2 forms in your folders, again some of you have filled them out (if they’re not in your folders in means you’ve already done it) Please can you put those in the information folder when done this will be by my mum in the foyer
  • Please have a quick scan over the safeguarding policy just in case we get inspected. Safeguarding officer is Jill Russell (Jill will be on the performance entrance door)
  • The Federation representative is coming on Thursday at 11am in case you see someone random wandering around, Her name is Kris Taylor.
  • First aid is Dawn Watmore but Dawn is on music so please come to me first and I can relieve Dawn to attend any emergencies! If it’s not too severe there is a first aid kit by my mum in the foyer, but please remember to fill in an accident sheet.
  • I haven’t printed off a list of names for everyone as it’s 37 pages long! So there will be folders in key areas backstage for you to check who is next etc or grab a copy of the programme, encourage parents to buy a programme rather than nose at yours I need them all to be bought!
  • If on Music/certificates this means music for each section need to be put in order and taken back stage, if you take a sections worth of music please tick the piece of paper next to the music drop off so we don’t think it’s gone missing. This also then need to be collected from Dawn playing the music at each section and taken back so people can collect their music.
  • Certificates – I will mainly do the collecting from the adjudicator and writer after each section and take to the foyer. They then need to have the appropriate score sticker put on them and then put in the alphabetical folders according to the dance school they attend which is on a sheet need to the folders.
  • Backstage – Performers are only allowed backstage 30 mins before their section time, other than this they are to wait in the green rooms which are in the building opposite. Jill will be on the performers entrance door which is down the side of the building not through the foyer to tick people off and let us know of anyone who hasn’t attended, I will then let the adjudicator know but I will also set up a whats app group so I can let Music and backstage know without running around like a headless chicken.
  • One person needs to gather everyone by the side of stage door and keep everyone quiet backstage
  • One person needs to be in the little holding room ( which is stage right all performers will enter and exit on the same side)
  • One person side of stage to send them on and get them off quickly we have 20 seconds per dance for getting on and off otherwise we will be there until next year!
  • If for some insane reason we are running early (some performers have dropped out since the timetable was done) we can start a section early IF all performers are there I will give the OK for this so the adjudicator is aware. If we are running late scoot the kids off faster!
  • Runner will probably be with me doing odd jobs all around (sorry)
  • Thank you so much again, any problems whats app on the group my number is 07947276719 if you could all send me yours so I can add you to the day’s group in which you’re helping would be fab! I’m hoping all will run to plan!I’ve got the schedule as follows please let me know if you need to go or arrive at different times etc just so I can get all stations manned.
